Summer 2022 StoryWalk

The San Juan Island Library is delighted to offer two different StoryWalk® experiences this Summer in partnership with Island Rec and with funding from The Women’s Fund of SJICF. A StoryWalk® is a wonderful way for children and adults to enjoy reading while exploring outdoor spaces.

At the Family Park & Playground, go on a playful adventure while reading Way Down Deep in the Deep Blue Sea. At the John O. Linde Community Park you can take a break and read the inspiring bilingual story Galápagos Girl/Galapagueña. Both stories fit within our Summer Reading Program 2022 theme: Oceans of Possibilities!

If you have enjoyed your StoryWalk® experience, please let us know by tagging us on Facebook or Instagram. We love to hear from you! Plus, your feedback helps us in planning future outdoor storytelling activities.
