What is the goal of this partnership between San Juan Island School District and the San Juan Island Library?
The goal is to provide all public school students with access to public library resources.
What’s the difference between student access and a regular library card?
There is no physical card for the student access program – these accounts will use the student’s already established school ID number. In addition, the physical items that can be borrowed are more limited.

Students may check out up to three physical materials at a time. Students will have access to all San Juan Island Library digital resources.

What about fines and fees?
San Juan Island Library has no overdue fees on items that can be checked out through this partnership. Damaged items may result in a replacement fee.
