Friday Harbor High School teacher Brook Landers and her Spanish students present Bilingual Storytime - La Hora del Cuento at the library. They read stories, sing songs, and share rhymes in Spanish and English. Bring the kids for this free multicultural evening. We hope to see you.

Dig Into Reading Book Mark Contest |
 Entries Due May 31st! All San Juan Island elementary school-aged children are eligible to participate. You may turn your entry in at the Library or at Friday Harbor Elementary School. Winning book marks will be announced at the Friday Harbor Elementary School Assembly on June 12th. |

Caregivers are invited to join their babies and toddlers for an interactive early learning storytime. Socializing and playgroup time follows!
This program is offered through a partnership with the San Juan Island Family Resource Center. Light snack provided courtesy of the Friends of the Library.

**Program currently full**
Kathy began reading Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery on Monday, October 22nd at 3:05pm in the Meeting Room. We will not meet on Monday, December 24th and Monday, December 31st as school is in recess.
Elementary school-aged students listen to classic stories read aloud for their enjoyment and curiosity. Snacks provided by Kathy Babbitt and the Friends of the Library. Due to space limitations, registration is required and only happens once a year in September.
