Listen Up!
for Adults at the Mullis Community Senior Center Lounge
The San Juan Island Library reads aloud. Join other adults listening to poetry, articles and essays, snippets and stories. Come to the Mullis Community Senior Center Lounge on Mondays after the hot lunch at 1:30 pm with something to share, or just to listen. Free.

Literary Salon
Join us in front of the fireplace each third Thursday of the month at 7 pm to discuss great books you may have read lately. This is a good gathering of rebel readers -- those folks who love books, but don't want a book club because they don't want to be told what to read! Come check it out!

English as a Second Language/ íngles como segunda idioma

• Programs for children are available. 
• Teachers from Skagit Valley College teach at the San Juan Island Library.
• Classes are Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:30-9:00 PM.
• September 18 -December 6. January 2 - March 15. March 27 - June 7.
• No one is turned away for inability to pay.
• Beginning English. Intermediate English. Advanced English.
• Students from around the world.

• Maestros del Colegio de Valle de Skagit enseñan en la Biblioteca de la Isla de San Juan.
• Clasés son los lunes y los miercoles en la tarde à 6:30-9:00 PM.
