Fall Technology Training Classes at the Library

The San Juan Island Library announces its Fall 1999 Technology Training schedule.

The San Juan Island Library will again be offering a wide selection of free technology classes and dates this fall to help patrons get the most out of their library. All of the following classes will take place at least once per month this October and November: Internet I, Internet II, Health Resources Database, and Magazines and Newspapers Database.

"Internet I" covers basic Internet activities including navigating, viewing, and searching through web pages. "Internet II" covers intermediate Internet activities including printing and advanced searching. The "Database Resources" courses provide instruction in the use of the next-generation Internet-based databases now available both at the Library and remotely from home or office.
